WILDSOUL STUDIO · LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 2026
Introduction
Welcome to WildSoul Studio. These Terms of Service govern the use of our website, products, and custom commission services. By submitting a commission request or placing an order with WildSoul Studio, you agree to these Terms.
1. Custom Commission Services
WildSoul Studio specializes in handcrafted custom fursuits, including Fursuit Heads, Partial Fursuits, Full Fursuits, and other custom character creations.
All commissions are made specifically for each customer. Gallery and portfolio pieces displayed on this website represent completed past creations and are not offered as ready-to-purchase products.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Prices shown on this website are starting prices only and are provided as general guidance.
Each commission receives an individual quotation based on factors including:
- Character complexity
- Fursuit type (Head / Partial / Full)
- Materials and accessories
- Special design requirements
- Overall production complexity
The final quoted price confirmed between WildSoul Studio and the customer becomes the official commission price.
3. Commission Deposit
After accepting a quotation, the customer is required to pay a $500 USD Commission Deposit.
The deposit is used to:
- Confirm the commission
- Reserve a position in the production queue
Paying the deposit does not mean production begins immediately.
Production officially begins only after WildSoul Studio confirms that the customer's scheduled production slot has started.
4. Production Queue & Timeline
All commissions enter a production queue after the deposit has been received.
Once production officially begins, the typical production time is approximately 30–90 days, depending on the complexity of the project.
Queue time and production time are separate. Time spent waiting in the queue is not included in the 30–90 day production estimate.
WildSoul Studio will communicate with customers throughout the production process whenever possible.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To keep production running smoothly, customers agree to provide accurate and timely information, including:
- Character reference artwork
- Measurements
- Design confirmations
- Shipping information
- Other reasonably requested production details
Delays caused by incomplete information or prolonged customer response times may extend the overall project timeline.
6. Design Changes
Before production begins, customers may discuss and request reasonable design adjustments.
After Production Start, minor adjustments may still be possible, depending on the stage of construction.
Major design changes—including significant changes to colors, markings, structure, accessories, or character identity—may:
- Not be possible
- Require additional fees
- Extend the production timeline
WildSoul Studio reserves the right to determine whether requested changes remain technically feasible.
7. Cancellation & Deposit Policy
Before Production Start
Customers may request cancellation before Production Start.
If the cancellation is approved before production has officially begun, the $500 Commission Deposit is refundable.
After Production Start
Once WildSoul Studio has officially notified the customer that production has started, the $500 Commission Deposit becomes non-refundable.
8. Remaining Balance
The Commission Deposit is not the full order payment.
Any remaining balance follows the payment arrangement agreed upon during the commission process.
WildSoul Studio reserves the right to pause production or withhold shipment until all required payments have been completed.
9. Final Approval & Shipping
When the commission is completed, WildSoul Studio will provide final photographs and/or videos for customer review.
After the customer provides Final Approval:
- Remaining balance is completed (if applicable)
- The commission is prepared for shipment
- Worldwide shipping is arranged
Final Approval confirms acceptance of the completed handcrafted appearance based on the agreed commission design.
10. Returns & Custom Products
Because every commission is individually handcrafted and personalized, custom fursuits cannot be returned or refunded for reasons including:
- Change of mind
- Personal preference changes
- Character no longer wanted
- New design ideas after approval
- Subjective expectations when the completed work matches the agreed design
This does not affect your rights regarding confirmed workmanship or quality issues.
11. Repairs, Quality & Shipping Damage
If your commission arrives with a verified workmanship or quality issue, please contact WildSoul Studio as soon as possible with clear photos or videos.
For confirmed maker-related issues, we will provide an appropriate repair or adjustment.
If a commission suffers serious shipping damage, customers should provide photographs of both the package and the damaged item. Where repair is not reasonably possible, WildSoul Studio may arrange an appropriate remedy, including a remake when justified.
12. Character Rights
By submitting character artwork, reference sheets, logos, or other creative materials, the customer confirms that they own those materials or have permission to use them for the commission.
Customers remain the owner of their original character and intellectual property.
13. Portfolio & Promotional Use
WildSoul Studio retains the right to photograph and display completed commissioned creations for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and promotional purposes.
If a customer requires temporary confidentiality before a public character reveal, they should discuss this with WildSoul Studio before production begins. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate agreed confidentiality requests.
14. Age Requirement
Customers must be 18 years of age or older to place a commission.
If the commissioner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must act as the purchasing customer and payment holder.
15. Payment Disputes
If any payment issue arises, customers agree to contact WildSoul Studio first so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter.
In cases involving fraudulent activity, abusive chargebacks, or disputes that conflict with documented commission agreements, WildSoul Studio reserves the right to submit relevant commission records, invoices, correspondence, production documentation, and shipping evidence to the payment provider.
16. Force Majeure
WildSoul Studio is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, transportation disruption, customs delays, government actions, or major supply chain interruptions.
When possible, customers will be informed of significant delays.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WildSoul Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
WildSoul Studio may update these Terms from time to time.
For active commissions, the Terms in effect when the commission was accepted will generally apply unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
19. Entire Agreement
A commission is governed collectively by:
- These Terms of Service
- The approved commission quotation
- The customer's Commission Request
- Any written design confirmations agreed between both parties
If a commission-specific written agreement differs from these general Terms, the commission-specific agreement will take precedence for that project.
